As you may have heard the HOME BUYERS CREDIT has expired. Lawmakers are going to sit back and see what happens now with housing. I have stayed up all hours last week working with buyers that wanted to get the credit and will get it because they got contracts on April 30th, the last day to be eligible.
For this week I expect a slowdown, only to pickup again as the spring market really heats up.
One thing I am committed to this month is looking at all homes that are on the market for sale in the general area, priced up to $300,000. This will help me to know exactly what is on the market and what properties are the most direct competition for each of my listings. This will help me make sure we are priced within the market and very competitive.
I also plan on more open house events this month, closer to the Memorial day weekend, subscribe to my YouTube channel to get the latest news on open houses in the area. If possible I want to organize foreclosure home tours in the area to all interested. Let me know if this would interest you or someone you know.
